前 言
一、英语歌曲欣赏校本选修课程开发的现实意义
我校是一所农村中学，学生英语水平整体偏弱。英语教材因受话题、语法等编写要求的限制，选材的趣味性程度不够，部分中学生在学习英语的过程中表现出明显的兴趣不足。传统英语教学法偏重语法、词汇的教材和教法，使学习英语成为了他们的“苦差使”。而西方经典歌曲或最新流行音乐，因为其精良的制作和演绎，本身就对喜爱音乐的学生们有着强大的吸引力；教学歌曲的形式和内容与平时课程学习截然不同，让学生产生持久的新鲜感，从而产生学习英语的持续兴趣。其次，学生需要在学习过程中体会成就感。能用英语哼唱一些世界顶级的曲目，让学生拥有相当的成就感。学生通过不断的“听”和模仿，大大提高了听力的水平。同时，学生在哼唱、背诵歌词时，无形掌握了一些词组、常用句型和语法，让学生体会到进步和成功的快乐。鉴于此，我校英语教研组秉持以学生发展为本的理念，开发英语歌曲欣赏校本选修课程，希望学生通过英语歌曲赏析，感受英语学习的乐趣，并通过有趣的练习提高口语和语言运用能力；同时，教师在教学上注入更多新的元素，切实关注学生的情感与需求。

三、基本理念
1.英语新课程标准对英语选修教材内容的要求
《新高中英语课程标准》指出：“英语课程要有利于学生个性和潜能的发展。”为了体现课程改革的指导思想，英语教学课程采取必修课与选修课相结合的课程设置模式。必修课程的目的是使学生获得基本的英语语言能力，形成积极向上的学习态度、灵活多样的学习策略，以及跨文化交际意识和能力，为终身学习奠定基础。选修课程的目的是为了满足不同学生的就业选择、升学深造及个人的兴趣和发展的需要。任意选修课程分为语言知识与技能类、语言应用类和欣赏类。英语歌曲欣赏属于可纳入高中英语选修教材的内容。
英语歌曲欣赏是高中选修课的重要组成部分。传统的英语教学过分强调英语语法结构和词汇知识的教学，学习者往往需要大量的机械、枯燥的记忆和练习，才能达所要求的学习水平。而基于激发学生学习兴趣、提高学生英语实际运用能力的英语歌曲欣赏选修课程，适应学生的实际需要、充分考虑了学生发展特点，应受学生们的欢迎。
2.英语歌曲欣赏选修课程开发的理论基础
20世纪20年代，英国帕尔默(F. R. Palmer)等人提出的情景教学法( Situational Language Teaching)强调为学生的英语学习提供真实的交际情景。英语歌曲欣赏选修课的教学正是利用了感情、声音等方面强化了学生的“刺激反应”，使外界的信息通过听觉传给大脑中枢，建立起信号联系并诱发人脑迅速做出反应和加速记忆，达到记忆痕迹的长期储存从而实现最佳教学效果。
从语言学和教育信息技术的角度来看，英语歌曲校本欣赏选修课程是将英语歌曲和多媒体教学运用于英语教学实践的一种尝试。以直观的手段，营造出轻松愉快的氛围，给学生提供纯正、地道的英语口语和运用情景，促使学生对不同国家的习俗、文化、社会及历史概况进行了解。
四、课程设计思路
利用我校校本课程开设的时间，每周进行一次英语歌曲选修课的教学。每次1课时，一学期共16课时。学分2分。
课 程 目 标
课程目标是课程实施的核心，以国家课程标准为基准，制定了如下英语歌曲欣赏课程的总目标：
一、总体目标
本课程以培养符合高中生特色的应用型、欣赏性的英语方向的初步人才为目标，让学生了解英美国家的文化习俗，更好地培养他们的跨文化意识；通过系统训练，进一步提高学生的听说能力并促进读写能力的发展；通过本课程的学习，拓展学生学习英语的兴趣。
1．通过学习和欣赏西方经典歌曲，更好地了解西方文化，从而开阔视野，提高鉴赏能力。
2．通过视听练习，逐步在轻松愉快的氛围中提高听说技能，从而增强语感、提高英语综合能力。
3．通过学习和欣赏英文经典歌曲，增强学英语的兴趣和能力。
4．通过欣赏经典歌曲，更广泛地了解相关的学科知识（历史学、人文学等）。
二、具体目标
能力目标：
①使学生具备基本的经典英文歌曲的欣赏能力；
②培养学生在日常生活中正确地使用英语解决问题的能力；
③使学生能基本运用各种英语知识，提高经典歌曲欣赏和解读能力；
④提高英语表达的逻辑性、叙述的连贯性和语言的流畅性。
知识目标：
①了解并熟练应用常用的英语口语表达句式，增强语言运用的准确性；
②掌握英语口语的发音技巧、朗读的基本技能；
③熟悉各种应用型英语经典歌曲的特点，为进一步的深化与运用打下坚实的基础。
素质目标：
①培养学生对英语经典歌曲的兴趣；
②培养学生的思辩能力，增强学生分析问题的能力，开拓学生的思维；
③培养学生踏实严谨、实事求是、勇于探索，团结合作的精神。
④培养学生自我学习，自我提高的能力。
实 施 建 议
一、教材、教学参考资料使用建议
根据以工作过程为导向的原则，可以不按照教学和教材资料原来的内容排列顺序进行英语经典歌曲教学；也可以根据教学内容需要，补充适当的教材外的内容，如需要教师应自编或收集大量的英语经典歌曲教学素材补充进去。
二、教学建议
建议采取项目化教学模式。在课程项目设计上，建议根据学生高考写作能力素质要求，把课程的知识点和能力点进行归纳、分类，融入到一系列的真实写作项目中。建议每个项目的开展，都是独立完整的，每个项目的开展都可以实现特定的能力培养目标。但纵观课程的全部项目，相互之间的知识点和能力点又相互关联。项目的设置要求体现知识和能力从简单到复杂的递进关系和以工作过程为导向的原则。
培养学生的人文素质和跨文化意识，强调合作性学习、探索性学习，培养学生的自主性，强调对学习策略的指导，使学生在英语写作知识、技能、逻辑思维、修养方面得到整体发展。
在英语经典歌曲选修课的教学方法选择上，可采用视频导读法、情景教学法、任务教学法及案例教学法教学方法。
在英语经典歌曲教学中应注意培养学生用英语思维的习惯，大幅度提高学生用英语进行各种口头交流的能力和评价，全面提高学生用英语表达的自信心，具体为：
1、用英语进行各种口头和书面交流的基本技能，在一般的日常生活中正确地使用英完成口头和书面交流的任务；
2、增强英语表达的逻辑性、叙述的连贯性和语言的精确性；
3、提高英语经典歌曲的演绎能力。

三、教学考核评价建议
要求采用阶段评价、终结评价相结合的评价方式，关注评价的多元性。在测试时既要考核英语基础知识，更要考核其实际运用英语进行口头和书面交际的能力和英语经典歌曲的演绎能力。

为了提高学生的参与度和积极性，课程除了教师带给学生经典曲目之外，还可以给学生留出自我展示的机会。班级学生分成若干组，每组4-5位同学，轮流跟同学分享自己喜爱的英文歌曲。小组成员分工合作，利用网络收集相关材料，如歌手介绍、文化背景知识以及MV等，在课堂上用英语表达自己对这首歌曲的理解。

迈克尔·杰克逊（Michael Jackson）是继猫王之后，西方流行乐坛最具影响力的音乐家 ，其成就超越猫王，被誉为流行音乐之王（King of Pop），“地球上最有名的人”。他是一个出色的音乐全才，在作词、作曲、场景制作、编曲、演唱、舞蹈、乐器演奏都有着非常卓越的成就。
