本年度的新概念背诵比赛即将擂响战鼓，许多热衷新概念学习的同学都有耳闻过背诵新概念的魔力，纷纷向老师提出过关于背诵的很多问题，例如：是否通过背诵能成功通过很多考试;能够提高自己的能力以及写作能力等等。在此，我就以为例，为同学们小小展示一下通过背诵新概念，同学们能在写作方面取得的进步。
　　下文是同学以新概念文章为模版改写的作文段落：
　　Our monitor never fails to fascinate our classmates. He can be friendly and passionate towards his fellow students, but he leads proud life of his own as well. He never becomes submissive to other classmates and some teachers. As a result, others have learned to respect his pride and independence. One of the things that fascinates us most about our monitor is the popular belief that he can pass every exam just by 60 scores. Apparently, there is a good deal of truth in this idea. Monitor s ability to survive examinations is based on fact.
　　学过的同学看到这里，可能会会心一笑，马上翻到三册的第九课 Flying Cats第一段。
　　Cats never fail to fascinate human beings. They can be friendly and affectionate towards humans, but they lead mysterious lives of their own as well. They never become submissive like dogs and horses. As a result, humans have learned to respect feline independence. Most cats remain suspicious of humans all their lives. One of the things that fascinates us most about cats is the popular belief that they have nine lives. Apparently, there is a good deal of truth in this idea. A cat's ability to survive falls is based on fact.
　　通过对比，大家不难发现，只需要轻松变动几个词语，一篇出自自己之手的文章就跃然纸上。而新概念中可供大家模仿改写的经典语段不胜枚举。下面就再给大家一个例子：
　　Most of us have formed an unrealistic picture of life on a desert island. We sometimes imagine a desert island to be a sort of paradise where the sun always shines. Life there is simple and good. Ripe fruit falls from the trees and you never have to work. The other side of the picture is quite the opposite. Life on a desert island is wretched. You either starve to death or live like Robinson Crusoe, Waiting for a boat which never comes. Perhaps there is an element of truth in both these pictures, but few us have had the opportunity to find out.
　　这是新概念三册第12课的第一段，描写荒岛生活的正反两面。这一段的写作模式可供同学用于任何议论文体的写作模仿。如校园生活，国外生活，外企生活等等。

Perhaps there is an element of truth in both these pictures, but few us have had the opportunity to find out.
　　以上只是一个最简单的改写，当然，同学完全可以结合自己的需要，增减信息。从以上两个例子，我们不难看出，学过新概念的同学，通过背诵，在你需要用到新概念书中钻石黄金句型甚至段落时，你绝对不会头脑空空，一片茫然。当然，同学要想实现英语写作的自由流畅，通过背诵新概念而模仿新概念绝对是个值得选择的方法。只要相信自己能做到，坚持再坚持，等待在前方的就是胜利的曙光!
